Find Peace, Harmony, and Balance with Reiki

Where did Reiki originate? 

During a twenty-one day meditation and fast on Mount Kurama, Dr. Mikao Usui was given Sanskrit symbols which allowed him to develop Usui Reiki. The first school and clinic were founded in Tokyo in 1922. 

What is Reiki?

Life Force Energy. The Japanese word, 'Rei' means Universal Life and 'Ki' means Energy. Reiki is the Universal Life Energy that flows in and out of all. 

How does it work?

A Practitioner will place their hands in various locations, just above or on the body. The client will always be clothed during the process. The Practitioner can work with the client at a distance due to the Universal nature of the Energy being generated. 

What to expect?

Everyone will have a different experience. You may feel, heat from the hands of the practitioner or maybe a coolness. There may be clarity in thought or one just has a nice relaxing rest. Since the experience is subjective and changeable the possibilities can range from subtle sensations to pulses of energy.
